A good dose of thunder!
Wondering what I'm going on about, well.
Recently here in scotland we have been in a heatwave, and besnow I'm lucky, for it has suddenly started raining, and really heavily too. All the nearby drains are overspilling, and that's just frm out my window. With my window open I can tell that the air is clearing up and it feels less clamy in here already, which is a great sigh of releif, for my computer is sounding like a hoover because of the heat outside coming into the house and heating it up, and as I type the rain is going off. But who cares, I don't like the heat for it restricts what I can do and it gives me a sore stomach. My computer is not sounding like a hoover and unlike wedensday it has been on for the same legnth of time and has not slowed down to a crawl, even with me downloading things!
Now I'm wondering if the school has leaked yet for it leaked before because the rain was too heavy and the school was crapply built, so we all got sent home in the poring rain, mind you that is a funny story so I will share it with you besnow.
ON a recent monday I was sitting having lunch down in the joint when above on the indoor balcony it started to leak. People where pointing at it. There was artwork up there from previous students who had studied at the high school, so I went up and told one of the art teachers that the art might be in danger. When I went up there was a leak through the glass roof that is the art flexible learning area and also coming in from the art deck (which is basically a balcony). We went to go and see and he said thank you. All the students where then ushered by the teachers into the hall because of the leaks. At this time I sat near the back of the hall on the raised seats. The younger years where near the front and where playing around with the light switches flicking them on and off at a very high rate, so much so that the senior pupils started swearing at them to leave the lights alone. But they never, soon some bottles went flying around the hall and the teachers didn't care. At this point I spotted one of my friends down at the entrance to the hall, so I clambered down to go and see her. At this time another leak came about, this time in the hall itself, and everyone stared at it and some people tried to leave. When this started to happen the head teacher came in and told us all to sit down and be quite. She then had to fight with us to shut it. Once we where quite enough for her to talk she said that all the seniors where to go home, and at this point I left, but some of the younger years tried to leave passing themselfs off as seniors. I felt as though we could've waited a little longer, but hey I didn't care for we where getting a half day. So basiclly she sent us all out in the hail and rail, and the hail was big. My bag isn't waterproof so I had to put my jacket over my bag to keep it dry. So because of that I've learnt to always wear something under white shirts when rain is forcased, but most likely I'll forget, cause it gets too hot in thoose classrooms, with my english classroom feeling like a sauna. But yeah all yeargroups ended up being sent home. So the s5/6 social area was flooded and so was the office. But you would've thought that we would've had the next day off as well, but we never for they brought in thoose big water pumpers and pumped out all of the water that was in the school. At this point I was really sad, for I had forgot to do my higher computing homework and so I had to cram it in that night, while on MSN.
So that is the story. It might not seem that interesting, but by heck was it a brill laugh, we still talk about it sometimes between ourselfs
Durnig the typing of this the rain has gone but the dark clouds still remain around, and no sign of thunder yet, even though we had some yesterday.
